Police are looking to identify three male suspects after a bank in Oshawa was robbed at gunpoint.
On Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at approximately 2:06 p.m., officers from Central East Division responded to the RBC bank on Laval Drive for a robbery that had just occurred. Three suspects entered the bank and demanded cash while brandishing a firearm. A customer at an ATM had a quantity of cash stolen from them and a female customer who entered the bank was confronted by one suspect, who pulled a gold chain from her neck.
The suspects received a quantity of cash and fled the bank, last seen running eastbound across Stevenson Road South and into a townhouse complex on Bristol Crescent.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
Suspect #1 is described as male, black, 20 to 25 years old, approximately 5’8” tall with a medium build, and wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants.
Suspect #2 is described as male, black, 20 to 25 years old, 5’10” to 6’ tall, with a thin build and wearing a dark hoodie and glasses.
Suspect #3 is described as male, black, 20 to 25 years old, and wearing a dark hoodie.
