After denying she would be returning to Stars Hollow, Melissa McCarthy has confirmed she will be returning for the ‘Gilmore Girls’ revival on Netflix. McCarthy made the announcement while appearing on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ to promote her new film, ‘The Boss,’ which hits theatres today. Gilmore producers say more episodes could happen in the future.
‘American Idol’ said goodbye with a two year high. The series finale was watched by almost 13 million viewers, making it the second most watched series of the night. The show featured special performances from past winners including Kelly Clarkson, who pre-taped a medley of her biggest hits.
With the success of ‘American Crime Story: The People V OJ Simpson, other networks are looking to cash in. NBC has announced a series from ‘Law And Order’ mastermind, Dick Wolf that will focus on the trial of the Menendez brothers. And over at CBS work has begun on a series based on the JonBenet Ramsey murder.
