Taylor Swift can add herself to her award collection… details in your Daily Scoop.

Taylor Swift is set to receive the first ever Taylor Swift award from the BMI Pop awards.  BMI says “Taylor has had a profound impact, not only musically, but also through her personal conviction and commitment to create a standard that values and respects music for everyone. We felt it appropriate to award Taylor with an honor that is as unique and special as she is.”
Janet Jackson has postponed her Unbreakable world tour again.  Jackson released a video with an explanation saying, “My husband and I are planning our family. I’m gonna have to delay the tour. Please if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders.”

Rebel Wilson is denying rumours that she is set to play Adele in an upcoming film.  Wilson took to twitter saying, “I have never been offered to play Adele in a biopic…completely made up tabloid story with fictitious unnamed source! Love Adele though.”

Country giant Merle Haggard, who celebrated outlaws, underdogs and an abiding sense of national pride in such hits as “Okie From Muskogee” and “Sing Me Back Home,” died Wednesday at 79, on his birthday.
