Street Level Robbery in Oshawa

A 24-year-old man from Oshawa suffered minor injuries after being attacked and robbed by four suspects in Oshawa last night.

On Monday, March 7, 2016, at approximately 11 p.m., officers from Central East Division responded to the area of Simcoe Street North and Beatrice Street regarding a robbery that had occurred. The victim was walking northbound on Simcoe Street North along the east sidewalk when he was attacked by four males. The victim was punched and knocked to the ground where the suspects grabbed the victim’s cellphone from his pocket and then fled. The suspects may have left the area in a car that was waiting nearby.
 
The victim suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention.
 
The four suspects are described as male, white, wearing dark clothing and masks that concealed their faces.
