Elaine Garnett, General Sales Manager

Elaine has been with CHANNEL 12 for 14 years, building strong business and community partnerships. Elaine moved from British Columbia in 1986 and has been proud to call Durham Region home for over 20 years. She is an Honours graduate of the Advertising program at Durham College. Her experience in television, radio and newspaper gives her clients a multi-media marketing edge.

Elaine is actively involved in the community, volunteering at and supporting many events and charitable organizations.  She has taken a leadership role as a long time volunteer at the Durham YMCA, currently serving as Past-Chair of Leadership Gifts, focusing on raising money for the Strong Kids Campaign.  Elaine has also volunteered 6 years on the Clarington Board of Trade and is currently serving as President.  Committed to education and the advertising industry, she is on Durham College's Advisory Board for the Advertising Curriculum and has taught a post-graduate advertising course at Fleming College.  In recognition of her leadership and dedication to business and community, Elaine was recognized as "2006 Business Person of the Year" by the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce and received "2009 Alumna of Distinction" from Durham College.

Paula Beebe, Account Executive and Producer

Finding the edge is what Paula has been able to do for over 8 years now as an Account Executive at CHANNEL 12. Working with local and national companies and assisting them in achieving their company and community goals is Paula’s priority. This was highlighted in 2002 when RBC Royal Bank won the Golden Quill Award for their Durham Region campaign “Local Heroes” that Paula spear headed. She continues to build successful relationships with many businesses by helping them find their market edge. Paula has also been a successful Producer for Dan Carter Productions since 2001. She produces 2 ½ hours of live programming each day for CHANNEL 12 and helps to develop a strong and committed connection to Durham Region.

Leadership comes not only in her business life, but her commitment to her community. Paula attends over 100 events a year. Her willingness to get involved with charitable organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Society of Durham Region, the Oshawa Community Health Centre and the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital Foundation have helped bring a great deal of public awareness to these organizations. Truly committed to her community and leading by example is Paula’s belief that we can all help build a stronger community by giving of one’s self.

Jacqueline Donovan, Account Executive

Jacqueline, who is originally from Newfoundland, is a long time resident of Durham Region.  Her background is in the publishing industry where she received the Norma Christensen Editorial Excellence Award for outstanding editorial achievement.

Following her heart, Jacqueline made a career change into the Advertising industry.  As a member of The Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce, she is knowledgeable and well connected to businesses in this community.  It is in Jacqueline's character to follow through and deliver on her word and to pay attention to even the smallest details.  Her fresh ideas, enthusiasm and keen organizational skills are a definite asset to any client she works with.

Jacqueline is an active member of this community and has worked with many charities like Friends of the Second Marsh, Simcoe Settlement House, YWCA, Denise House Emergency Centre for abused women and their children, and has volunteered at fundraising events like the Ed Lupton Memorial Golf Tournament.  Jacqueline is also a long time volunteer serving on the Gala Committee for The Christ Centre and at St. Vincent's Kitchen.

Brook McWilliams, Account Executive

Brook is the third generation in his family to work in the television industry. He graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honour B.A. Specialist in History. After university, Brook followed his entrepreneurial dream and developed his own business within a niche market. Young and full of determination, he developed and grew his business and was featured in the Toronto Saturday newspaper. He determined the individual needs and goals of each client and tailored his business to meet those goals. After four successful years, Brook has decided to make a career change and focus his innovative mind on television, joining the Channel 12 team.

When Brook doesn’t have his nose to the grindstone, you’ll find him either on the golf course or finding fresh tracks on a mountain somewhere.

Sue Korytko, Office Administrator

Susan has over 16 years experience in broadcast media working in major market radio before joining the team at CHANNEL 12. As the Office Administrator, Susan’s role is key as our liaison with clients, the public and staff. Her creativity and resourcefulness has assisted in coordinating and executing niche features opportunities for programming and sponsors.

Susan's expertise is in accounting operations but her experience and market background also make her a valuable resource in account management. Susan is a vital member of the sales and production teams and takes great pride in her work.
