Historic Building: 565 Water St.

November 18, 2011

At one time, Water Street was Peterborough's most desired residential address. Many fine homes remain along the street albeit converted into businesses. One of them, 565 Water Street, is now the headquarters for the local branch of the Red Cross Society. Elwood Jones, with Trent Valley Archives says the house is probably the best surviving example of the work of Peterborough architect William Blackwell.
