Victims Sister Speaks Out On Coroners Inquest Into Her Brother’s Death

It was announced that an inquest will be held into the death of Ajax man Michael MacIsaac.

MacIsaac, 47, died on December 3, 2013 following an interaction with Durham Regional Police in Ajax. An inquest is mandatory under the Coroners Act.

The inquest will examine the events surrounding Mr. MacIsaac’s death. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.

The inquest is expected to last two weeks and to hear from 18 witnesses.
