Police Searching For Suspect After Break & Enter In Oshawa

Investigators seek to identify a suspect, caught on video surveillance, who broke into an Oshawa convenience store and stole lottery tickets.

On Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at approximately 4:40 a.m., surveillance video at a convenience store at Ritson Road South and Dean Avenue shows a male breaking through the glass door with a golf club and climbing inside. The suspect jumps over the counter and steals a quantity of lottery tickets before jumping back over the counter and falling. He collects the stolen items off the floor and flees the business.

The suspect is described as male, white, in his 20s, and wearing a blue winter jacket, dark pants, tan running shoes and a white toque. He was carrying a dark-coloured Adidas bag.
