The Tragically Hip’s farewell tour has raised more than $1 million cancer research in Canada. The Sunnybrook Foundation says nearly $ 800-thousand in donations have been made to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research at Sunnybrook Hospital. The Canadian Cancer Society says it has received almost $400,000 in donations.
