Country star Gord Bamford gets some international recognition… details in your Daily Scoop.

Canadian singer Gord Bamford received an international achievement award from the Country Music Association.  Bamford, who has won 24 CCMA Awards was presented with the CMA Jeff Walker Global Artist Award for the second time.  Bamford says, “I am truly honored and humbled to receive the CMA Jeff Walker Global Artist Award.  To be recognized by CMA for a second time is a highlight in my career and something I am very proud of.”

Ariana Grande wasn’t too happy with Ryan Seacrest, after the radio host asked about an Instagram post that appeared to confirm Grande’s relationship with rapper Mac Miller.  Grande snapped at Seacrest saying “If I post something that’s what I’m willing to share at the moment. But it doesn’t mean that you Ryan Seacrest with millions of listeners are entitled to more information.”

Star Trek fans are going to have to wait a little longer for the upcoming series, ‘Star Trek: Discovery.’  The show was supposed to begin streaming in January, but has been pushed to May 2017, a move CBS says “is to give the show’s creative team more time to create a ‘Star Trek’ TV series that lives up to the fans’ expectations.”
