One of Hollywood’s best known acting families says goodbye to one of their own… details in your Daily Scoop.

Transgender actress Alexis Arquette died Sunday morning at age 47, surrounded by family, who made the announcement on Facebook. Her cause of death was not specified.  Her siblings David and Patricia both took to Twitter to pay tribute to their sister.

The Creative Arts Emmys were handed out on Saturday and Sunday in Los Angeles.  Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made history when the pair won best guest actress in a comedy series for hosting ‘Saturday Night Live,’ becoming the first co-nominees and winners in an acting category.  HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ was a big winner picking up 9 awards.  The rest of the Emmy Awards will be handed out on Sunday.

Tom Hanks returns to the top of the box office with ‘Sully,’ which brought in $ 35.5 million dollars. Clint Eastwood directed the film, which earned him one of his biggest openings and one of the biggest September openings of all time.  ‘When The Bough Breaks’ came in second place with $ 15 million.
