Durham Regional Council to consider by-law that could change its composition

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advise residents that Durham Regional Council intends to pass a by-law that, if approved, would change the composition of council, upon achieving a triple majority. The by-law will be considered at the Sept. 14 Regional Council meeting, which begins at 10 a.m. Regional Council will hold this public meeting to provide an opportunity to make comments on this proposed by-law.

Comments may also be submitted by the public in writing no later than Sept. 12, addressed to the Regional Clerk/Director of Legislative Services:
