Investigators are trying to identify the suspects in two thefts at laundromats in Bowmanville that resulted in the loss of $1,500 in coins.
On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, the owner of Any Coin Laundry on King Street East noticed he was missing a coins from the machine in his business. He called police to report the theft. The owner also checked his other business, the Sanco Coin Laundry, also on King Street East and found its coin machine had been robbed as well.
Police began to investigate and are trying to identify four male suspects caught on surveillance camera.
Suspect #1 is described as male, white, in his 30s, with a beard and wearing a baseball hat.
Suspect #2 is described as male, white, in his 30s and wearing a white baseball hat, a blue sweater with a zipper, white shorts and carrying a change apron or fanny pack to collect the coins.
Suspect #3 is described as male, white, in his 40s, with a beard, bald head and hair around the sides, and wearing a black and grey striped coat with a hood and jeans. He walks with a limp or uneven gait.
Suspect #4 is described as male, white with a bald head and glasses. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded sweatshirt.

They suspects may also have been in the company of a white female with long dark hair in a bun, wearing burgundy pants and a black T-shirt with a design on the front.
