Contractor Charged After Oshawa Widow Lost Thousands Of Dollars

An Oshawa contractor and several other people have now been charged with fraud in connection with an 89-year-old Oshawa widow who lost thousands of dollars.

Alexsander BUDIMIROVIC, age 50 of  Oshawa, associated with Dominion Construction in Oshawa,  is facing multiple charges, including:  Fraud Over $5,000; False Pretenses; Use of Credit Card Not Authorized; Utter Forged Documents; Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000; and Traffic in Credit Card Data x4. He was a contractor initially employed by the widow for home repairs.

In April 2016, DRPS charged Rev. Harold Alan STEWART, age 66 of Prince Edward Island, with fraud in connection with this investigation. He is now facing a total of seven charges.

Subsequently, three other people have been charged in connection with this investigation:

Julie CARLSON, age 49 and Ashley CARLSON, age 28, both of Oshawa, are charged with: Fraud Under $5000; Use of Credit Card Not Authorized; and Possession of Property Obtained By Crime.

Pasquale REDA, age 48, of  Whitby is charged with: Fraud Under $5000 x2; Use of Credit Card Not Authorized x2; Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000; and Fail to Comply with Probation.
