For the third week in a row Disney’s ‘Finding Dory’ swam to the top of the box office adding another $ 41 million. Alexander Skarsgard and ‘The Legend of Tarzan’ swung in to second place with $ 38.5 million. ‘The Purge: Election Year’ managed to come in third place with just $ 31 million. Steven Spielberg’s ‘The BFG’ didn’t do as well as expected settling for fourth place with just $ 18.5 million.
Drake is still the king of the Billboard charts. ‘Views’ is sitting at number one on the Billboard 200 Albums chart for the ninth week in a row. This is the first time in over ten years a male artists has spent nine consecutive weeks at the top since Usher’s ‘Confessions’ did so back in 2004.
25 people were hospitalized during Kenny Chesney’s concert on Saturday in Pittsburgh. Most of the hospitalizations were due to intoxication or intoxication-related injuries. There were also a “handful of arrests on charges including trespassing, ticket robbery, simple assault and public intoxication.” In addition to the arrests and hospitalizations, several dozen people were cited for underage drinking.
