Some Rock’n’Roll history was up on the auction block with bidders paying a combined total of more than $150,000 for a lock of David Bowie’s hair and Prince’s iconic “Yellow Cloud” guitar Saturday in Beverly Hills. The snippet of Bowie’s pale blond hair went for $18,750. Prince’s instrument of choice during the late 1980s attracted a winning bid of $137,500, with unconfirmed reports saying it had gone to Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay.
If the feds get their way, Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller could see 24-30 months in jail after pleading guilty today to part of her indictment last year on 20 counts of fraud and a new charge of violating currency reporting laws. With her lawyers asking for a maximum of six months behind bars, Miller will be sentenced October 11.
Actor Kellan Lutz took to Twitter to confirm he has met with director McG and producers about the upcoming Masters of the Universe film. Lutz didn’t say which role he was up for, but it is widely speculated that he will be playing He-man. Sony has yet to confirm a release date for the film, but details are expected soon.
