Attempted Robbery of Ajax Pizza Store

Four suspects left empty-handed after trying to rob an Ajax pizza store early this morning.

On Friday, June 24, 2016, at approximately 3 a.m., officers from West Division responded to the Pizza Pizza on Kingston Road East for a robbery attempt. The lone employee was working in the rear of the store when he spotted four masked suspects on a surveillance camera enter through the front door. The employee fled out a back door and the four suspects were unable to access the cash register. They fled westbound through the parking lot, jumped over a fence behind the store and possibly entered a waiting vehicle on Harman Drive.

The suspects are described as males, with two of them wearing gray hooded sweatshirts and one of them wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
