Male Stabbed at Pickering House Party

Police are seeking five suspects after a male was stabbed and pepper-spray at a Pickering house party.

On Sunday, June 19, 2016, at approximately 1:20 a.m., officers from West Division responded to Altona Road near Strouds Lane after a male was stabbed. A large house party was beginning to close down when six suspects confronted a male leaving the party. The victim, a 22-year-old male, came to the aid of the male and when the confrontation became physical, he was stabbed in the back and pepper-sprayed in the face.  Two other males assisting the victim were pepper sprayed in the face. The suspects fled the area in a grey SUV.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for a serious, but non-life threatening stab wound.

The suspect is described as male, black, approximately 21 years old, medium build, approximately 5’10”, with short black hair.

The five other suspects are described as male, black, in their early 20s.
