Male Struck by Train in North Durham

A 38-year-old male from Beaverton suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a train last night.

On Thursday, June 16, 2016, at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers from North Division responded to the area of Concession Road 9 and Shoreline Road north of Beaverton for a pedestrian struck by a train. The male was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he is being treated for serious, life-threatening injuries.
