More than $3 million worth of drugs, cash and vehicles were seized yesterday as part of Project Neebing.
In total, 19 people were arrested and 20 search warrants were executed at locations from Belleville to Mississauga, as part of a multi-jurisdictional drug investigation led by the Durham Regional Police Service.
The estimated value of the drugs seized is $2.4 million, which included more than 80 kgs of hashish, 1 kg of methamphetamine, 1.6 kgs of MDMA, and 1.9 kgs of Benzylpiperazine (BZP). More than $300,000 in cash and three handguns were also seized.
4 people from Durham Region are facing charges. 25 year old Storm Henry of Oshawa is facing the most, they face 28 charges including trafficking cocaine.
