An Oshawa man is facing multiple charges after a restricted firearm and $14,000 in cash and drugs were seized from his residence.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 4, 2016, members of the DRPS Gun and Gang Enforcement Unit, with assistance from the Tactical Support Unit and a K-9 team, executed a search warrant at an Oshawa residence as part of an ongoing investigation.
They arrested a male without incident and seized a loaded, combat-style 12 gauge shotgun, over 500 grams of marihuana, 10 grams of magic mushrooms, $5,500 in Canadian currency, assorted drug paraphernalia and a BB gun. The street value of the drugs is estimated at $8,500.
Justin ROBINSON, age 32, in Oshawa is facing nine charges, including Possess Restricted/Prohibited Firearm with No License or Registration; Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Trafficking and Breach 810 Peace Bond x3. He was held for a bail hearing.
