The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles debut on top, but with half the green… details in your Daily Scoop.

The Teenage Mutant Ninjas Turtles return to the top of the box office with Out Of The Shadows bringing in 35.3 million dollars, down 46 percent from the last Turtles film, which opened with 65.6 million back in 2014.  X-Men Apocalypse fell to second place with 22.3 million dollars to bring its North American total to 116.5 after 10 days.

Elizabeth Banks says she will not be returning to the director’s chairs for ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ saying, “We have been in development and it took longer than we thought, and I needed to shoot another movie in the summer. If we pushed into fall it bumped up against my parental responsibilities, which made me feel uncomfortable.”  ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ is scheduled to hit theatres on December 22, 2017.

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have called it quits after 6 years together.  The couple released a statement confirming the spilt saying “After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship. This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends.”
