A male body discovered yesterday afternoon near the Oshawa Harbour has been sent to the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service to determine cause of death.
On Sunday, May 15, 2016, at approximately 5 p.m., railway workers discovered a human body near the railway tracks on Harbour Road near Farewell Street in Oshawa. Officers arrived and secured the scene, confirming the body of a white male in his 20s.
The Coroner’s office was called and a preliminary examination at the scene identified signs of trauma. A post mortem examination is being scheduled for later today at the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service in Toronto to determine cause of death.
