Investigators have released an image of a male wanted in connection with the robberies of three financial institutions in Durham Region within the last five days.
On Saturday, April 23, 2016, the RBC on Taunton Road East in Oshawa was robbed by a lone suspect. On Monday, April 25, 2016, the same suspect robbed the CIBC branch on King Avenue in Newcastle; and yesterday, Tuesday, April 26, 2016, the same male robbed the Auto Workers Credit Union on King Street East in Bowmanville.
The suspect is described as male, white, approximately 5’7” tall, with dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a black baseball hat, a black hooded coat and prescription glasses. He may be operating a silver 4-door Dodge pickup truck.
