Attempted Robbery at Ajax Convenience Store

Two male suspects are sought after an attempted robbery at a convenience store in Ajax last night.

On Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at approximately 9:25 p.m., officers from West Division responded to Kitchen Food Fair Convenience on Middlecote Drive regarding an attempted robbery that had just occurred. Two male suspects entered the store and one brandished a knife. When one of the employees fled to the back of the store, the two suspects ran from the store empty handed.

The DRPS K-9 Unit searched the area, but did not locate the suspects.

The employees were not physically injured during the robbery.

Suspect #1 is described as: male, black, 16 to 17 years old, and was wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and a white bandana covering his face.

Suspect #2 is described as: male, black, 16 to 17 years old, and was wearing a light-hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and a white bandana covering his face.
