Four Arrested and Weapons Seized After Altercation in Oshawa

Police arrested four males and seized an imitation hand gun, a bat and knives yesterday.

On Thursday, March 3, 2016, at approximately 9 a.m., police were called to the scene of an altercation out front of a residence in the area of Rossland and Harmony. Four males made threats and brandished weapons during an argument with the homeowner, then fled the scene in a vehicle.

Police conducted an investigation and quickly made four arrests. An imitation handgun, knives and a baseball bat were seized.

Matthew LUND, age 22 of Colavita Court in Woodbridge, and Daniel RAJOTTE, age 51 of Bloor Street East in Oshawa, have both been charged with: Assault with a Weapon; Possess Weapon for the Commission of an Offence and Criminal Harassment.

Omari RODNEY, age 18 of No Fixed Address, has been charged with: Assault with a Weapon; Use Imitation Firearm During the Commission of a Crime; Possess Weapon for the Commission of an Offence; Carry Concealed Weapon; Criminal Harassment;  and Possession of Cannabis.

Cody RAJOTTE, age 21 of Oshawa, has been charged with: Assault with a Weapon; Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose; Criminal Harassment and Possession of Cannabis.
